Asian Dipping Sauces

I've been inspired to create some new dipping sauces recently thanks to some fun dishes that I've tried at a few local restaurants. These are very versatile and would work well with several Asian flavored dishes. Let me know what you think!

Hoisin Peanut Sauce
-vegan-
1/2 cup hoisin
2 Tbs peanut butter
1/3 rice wine vinegar
2 cloves of garlic
2 tsp of Sambal sauce or 2 small hot chilies
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until until smooth. Place in small bowl and stir in chopped peanuts. Great dipping sauce for grilled tofu or cold summer rolls.

Yogurt and Sweet Chili Sauce
-vegetarian-
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
1.5 Tbs mild tasting vegetable oil ( I used sunflower )
a couple pinches of hot dried chili flakes for extra heat ( optional )
Mix all ingredients in small bowl. Serve with grilled veggies, grilled tofu or grilled meats.
