Okay, I've got to admit something...
I'm seriously obsessed about raw vegan desserts these days. I don't know why but I just can't stop making new ones. So, hope you don't mind!
Anyway, these little spicy chocolate candies are so good! They are super creamy, sweet and totally raw. But, just keep them in a freezer because they melt pretty quickly at room temperature. Especially in Hawaii!
Raw Mexican Chocolate Candy
(makes about 20 small candies)
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
3/4 cup raw virgin coconut oil
1/2 cup raw agave syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 to 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper ( optional )
1/2 tsp cinnamon
generous pinch of sea salt
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender until very smooth. Pour chocolate in a silicone candy mold or ice cube trays ( if using ice cube trays, fill molds just half way.) Place in freezer until solid ( about 10-15 minutes ). Store in freezer.
