So what have I been noshing on the last 3 days in Maui?? Well, Lot's of fresh juices from "The Farmer's Market" in Honokowai or "Down to Earth", fresh veggie based salads with lime juice for dressing, raw goats cheeses, "Mary's Gone Crackers" no gluten crackers, "Guiltless Gourmet" Chips and a new vegan organic soup without soy milk called "Imagine" ( well, maybe it's not new but it's new to me ) and a ton of peppermint tea.
Carlos and I hit up Costco and the health food store to stock our depressing looking cupboards and fridge as soon as we landed. We are both on a mission to eat a very clean and whole food diet! Carlos is proud to announce that he only gained about 4-5 lbs on this trip to Australia compared to the 20 plus pounds he put on during the last trip to OZ! He would like to shed that asap and stay on track! Very proud of him:-) However, my cat Taj put on almost a full pound while lazing around our ohana the last month? Hmmmmm......
As for working out....we didn't do much of that last month....just a TON of walking ( but fast walking because it was soooo freaking cold all the time! ) so, we plan on diving back into that as well. So far we did a hard hike into the West Maui Mountains yesterday and today I did an hour of Hatha yoga and Carlos surfed after work. Luckily, I am hardly jet lagged so getting back into a routine should be pretty easy! xo xo A

Fresh salads! Organic Greens mix, tomato, raw Kula white corn, lime juice, sea salt and alternating between goat cheese or avocados for yummy fats!!
